If you think you have become pregnant while using the medicine, tell your doctor right away. It is very important that your doctor check your or your child’s progress at regular visits to make sure that this medicine is working properly. Blood and urine tests may be needed to check for unwanted effects. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Use only the brand of this medicine that your doctor prescribed.

1. Call your doctor at once if you have symptoms of stomach bleeding such as black, bloody, or tarry stools, or coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds.
2. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicines without your doctor’s approval.
3. Some medicines for high blood pressure may not work as well as they should when you’re taking meloxicam.
4. Don’t take meloxicam if you have asthma, runny nose, and nasal polyps (aspirin triad).
5. You should not use meloxicam if you are allergic to it, or if you ever had an asthma attack or severe allergic reaction after taking aspirin or an NSAID.
6. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
