Lizzy has a unique ability to balance both the strategic and relational thinking required to grow and sustain a high-performing team. She firmly believes that courage and vulnerability are essential leadership skills needed to meet the challenging demands of today’s organizations. She is passionate about connecting with people and helping them find the right next step in their emotional wellness journey. Lizzy’s recovery journey sparked her passion for helping others and inspired her desire to change and grow as a leader in this particular field.

  3. Her favorite pastimes include nature walks, baking, travel, performing in local community theatre productions, and spending time with family.
  4. Tami-Jo has completed 200 hours of specialized trauma training through Spirit to Spirit to become a Certified Trauma Therapist.

Bronwyn lives in Kent with her loving husband and their two beautiful children. Joseph Wessex has been studying Psychology, Addiction, and Clinical Counseling since he began exploring the world of Mental Health and Psychology in 2010.

She is trained in many types of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She is also working toward her certificate in Sociometrics and Psychodrama. In addition to individual therapy sessions, Dana facilities the monthly Family Education Workshop and several weekly trauma groups for the guests. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2007 with a B.A. In Sociology and became a Certified Addiction Counselor in 2022. She has experience working in the mental health field since 2007 and joined High Watch as a 12-Step Coach in 2019.

He focuses primarily on spreading the word about High Watch’s 80 year history, its close ties to the Twelve Steps, and the tremendous work the High Watch family does every day. Since March 19th, 2020 we have had an AA meeting online without interruption 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have a new chair every hour while the host and co hosts in the background make sure to greet new people, post pertinent information, and change your screen name if you like. Kindly refrain from posting any derogatory comments, as they will be removed and you will be blocked. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. Outside of his work with High Watch, Jerry is very active in charitable social service organizations.

Janet is a seasoned social work professional with over 30 years’ experience working with clients spanning all age groups. She has held both clinical and administrative roles and has received four awards for outstanding performance in the social work field in the past six years. Meghan received her Bachelor of Arts from NYU where she studied vocal performance. Following this she attended Penn State University and received her Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Certificate. She is currently enrolled in Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions Psychiatry Certificate program with the aim to provide exceptional, comprehensive care to our guests.

Brendan works directly with all departments to ensure that the needs of each and every one of our guests are met uniquely in the way that best guides them along the path to recovery. He leads and oversees the care, services and treatment delivered to our guests and he ensures that those services are delivered in a safe and effective manner. Dr. Williamson has spent her career working closely with clinicians, social workers, and other medical professionals to treat the whole individual on a collaborative manner.

It is important to stay connected despite social isolation, and we must work together to protect our sobriety. He works directly with guests, their families and caregivers to navigate the insurance approval process and to make arrangements for self-paying individuals. Rob believes that it is essential that individuals seeking help with their addiction not be turned away. The fact that they have come to High Watch seeking help is so important and there may not be another opportunity to get that person on the road to recovery. Dr. Boris believes that guests of High Watch should receive holistic care for more than just their mental health and addiction needs. He believes that their physical health is equally important in ensuring that guests are able to manage their addiction successfully.

We are a group of alcoholics working together to get and stay sober. We are doctors, custodians, mothers, fathers, children, and everyone in between living our lives one day at a time. Everyone who has a desire to stop drinking is welcome to become a member of our family as we trudge the road of happy destiny. Tami-Jo has worked in the behavioral health field and with individuals in crisis in residential and outpatient settings. My role is to spread the word about High Watch’s excellence in the field.

He holds a Masters in Applied Psychology from Fairfield University as well as two bachelor’s degrees from Quinnipiac University in both Nursing and History. Ultimately, her goals as an HR professional are to drive the organization forward, be a motivator for others, and gain a sense of personal achievement. Alice would love to take you on a tour, enjoy lunch in the High Watch dining room and discuss the ways that your donation will make a difference in the lives of those suffering from the disease of addiction. Jess has spent much of her career with international non-government organizations.

A Board Certified Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Specialist. Donna brings extensive management and nursing experience to the High Watch clinical team. At High Watch she utilizes Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help guests work through their addiction.

Alice most enjoys her relationships with donors, many of whom are alumni of High Watch. Crystal Rivera is the Human Resources Manager at High Watch Recovery Center. In 2019, Crystal accomplished earning her Master’s degree in Human Resources Management while being a mother of three.

The youngest and newest member of the herd, Tex is curious and playful. Although not handled frequently before High Watch, he will thrive in the guests’ and staff’s love and care. We will update this page with additional information as we learn it and encourage you to share tips and tricks with us that we can include. Addiction is a disease of isolation, and we must stand strong together to get through this trying time. His role at High Watch is to ensure that we have the financial capacity to deliver the care and services our guests need day in and day out. His work and the work of his team is critical to our mission of seeing the disease of addiction go into remission for each individual who passes through our door.

He received a BA in Psychology, certification in Drug and Alcohol Counseling, and a Master’s in Counselor Education with a focus in Clinical Mental Health. Since then, he’s worked in multiple settings that provide diagnosis, assessment, and counseling for individuals struggling with both addiction and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. He is passionate about the work he does, and has worked towards implementing what he’s learned, to his own life for his own continued personal growth. Joseph is always looking for opportunities to learn more and grow his skillset with the central goal of improving the lives of those around him. Lizzy McGlothlin has worked in the behavioral health field for over 15 years in various administrative and leadership roles.
